Agenda

2023

Team Sentient is delighted to announce a dedicated SURGEONS SUMMIT in association with the SOCIETY OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE CARDIOVASCULAR AND THORACIC SURGEONS OF INDIA (SMICTSI), on the 7th & 8th of January, 2023 at the Taj Fisherman’s Cove, Chennai.

For this invitation-only course, we are bringing together some of the best surgeons from across the world to interact with the best surgeons from across India to discuss treatment options for Heart Valve Disease, especially in this new world of Transcatheter Valve Therapies.

Across one and a half power packed days we will have a series of interactive lectures and simulator sessions. We strongly believe that surgeons are an integral part of all valve related procedures and interactive sessions like this will be hugely beneficial to the patient community.

Focus of the Meeting

  1. Understand TAVR technology – Devices, Delivery Systems and the Procedure
  2. Understand case selection and limitations of TAVR
  3. Understand current evidence and its impact
  4. Understand extended TAVR uses
  5. Lifetime management of AS and management of TAVR failure
  6. Mitral Technology – What, When and Outcomes
  7. Impact of Mitral Technology – When a surgeon sends patients for transcatheter options
